We are an international team of parents and visionaries based in the Blatuša Ecovillage, 70 km south of Zagreb, Croatia.
As nature enthusiasts and gardening experts, educational travellers, and outdoor specialists, we bring together diverse perspectives on life, united by a shared desire to create nature-connected, sustainable learning experiences for our children – while continuing to grow together ourselves.
From the bottom of our hearts, we are committed to student-centred, holistic education and are constantly seeking new ways to bring it to life.
Often, these paths lead us into the forest – a place where time stands still yet transforms unlike anywhere else; a place where everything has space, everything finds peace, and where every outing turns into an adventure…
To give our shared ideas an official framework, we founded the SOIL association in spring 2025.
