“We cannot teach people anything; we can only help them discover it within themselves.”

Galileo Galilei

So many things in life inspire us. What could be more wonderful than sharing our knowledge and skills with our own children? Opening this world to a whole group of children together!

Workshops are a wonderful way to share enthusiasm, and a good workshop series is like a colourful buffet that offers children and adults new insights and inspiration. What do we want to learn? What do we want to pass on? Which topics spark the curiosity of each child? And where does the journey of the whole group lead?

The forest, with its hills and valleys, its streams, springs and the lake, with climbing trees and campfire spots, and in autumn a wealth of chestnuts and mushrooms – every excursion into the forest is a tribute to the nature that surrounds and shapes us. The forest becomes both classroom and teacher. And the children return—certainly much dirtier than when they set out, but also taller and stronger, more connected to themselves and more closely bonded as a group.

Our celebrations are like little highlights in the course of the year: moments to pause, marvel, give thanks, and enjoy together. They grow out of the rhythm of the seasons and draw our attention to what is happening in nature right now.
When we come together, children and adults, friends and guests, familiar faces and new ones, we eat and sing, laugh and wonder—and in the midst of it all, new project ideas take shape and, almost effortlessly, a little more community is created.
